MAKULU II is a Nautor 43, Sparkman and Stephens design, built by Oy Nautor Ab. In 2012, she went through Hurricane Sandy when stored ashore in northern NJ and survived with mostly light scratches. Given the carnage surrounding MAKULU II at the time it is a huge statement of her incredible strength and quality that so little damage occurred. A full report is available upon request. Since 2012 the owner has fully restored MAKULU II with the intentions of sailing her around the world, to make it the fourth circumnavigation of this yacht. These plans have since changed allowing the next owner to take full advantage of the recent efforts made to make MAKULU II a very special boat. Inspections are highly recommended. Even the most discriminating will not be disappointed.
